Creating items with several frames
You can create an item that has several “states” or “frames” to toggle between.
Let’s say you want to draw a face with different mood options - indifferency, anger and joy. After you are done with the first one, open the Frames panel (the button with three small squares) on the left and press the “+” button. Draw the next emotions. Delete frames using long tap.
When the item is saved you can use it in cartoons. Add your item to the scene and open the menu - you will see a new option - “States” (available only for items with more than one frame).
Auto-animation
You might need to have an item that switches its frames often (fire, for example). To avoid the menial task of switching frames manually, you can set up animation settings. Press the “Animation” button to set up animation settings.
You can choose animation speed and the order or frames.
The “Loop back and forth” checkbox will define the order of frames. By default it’s like 1-2-3-1-2-3, toggle the checkbox to get 1-2-3-2-1
